Rules For JFFG Archiving

1. NC-17 stories will only be archived on one page, so they will not be shown on individual author's pages.

2. No graphics or "title pictures" will be included in the HTMLing. For the most part the HTML pages will follow a standard archiving format. The only changes will be if there is text before the title or not. Submissions that are pre-formatted in HTML will be reformatted for archiving.

3. Any stories that are incomplete will be kept on a separate page from completed stories. This includes stories that are in a series. However, incomplete stories will still be archived on individual author's pages.

4. A series will be defined as a group of three or more stories that are linked together, unless the author lets me know before archiving that one or two stories will be part of a series. Otherwise they will be archived as single stories, the original and its sequel.

5. Fanfics without titles will not be archived. The only submissions that will be archived without titles are poems.

6. Stories will now be archived by author, listed alphabetically by whatever name the author writes under. When a real name is used, the listing will be alphabetical by last name if last name is given (ie, Phil Hernandez will be listed under "H") and by first name if last name is not given (ie, Findle is under "F").
  • 6a. Please let me know if you want to be listed with a different name from the one I've given you.

    7. I very rarely refuse a story. However, I reserve the right to refuse based on certain criteria, including if I find the story to be in poor taste. I also do not allow "real people" fanfiction. I will notify authors if I won't be archiving the fics.
