"Party on the Patio"

I found an empty house in my neighborhood,
I knew that we shouldn't but I thought we could.
Knew it wouldn't be hard to slide into the backyard,
Called all my friends and slipped a hundred to the guard.
We turned on the radio and had a party on the patio.
Betty's in the sauna and she's getting kind of hot,
Mary's in the icebox wishin' she was not.
Connie's in the whirlpool, Jimmy's tryin' to be cool,
Libby's in the bushes 'cause she's nobody's fool.
We turned the lights down low and had a party on the patio.
Heard the cops are coming so we tried to jump the fence,
Mary didn't make it and we haven't seen her since.
Connie had another drink, Jimmy simply couldn't think,
Billy G. was passed out underneath the sink.
But everybody's gonna show for another party on the patio.

Gabrielle looked over at Joxer's goofy grin as he told her and Xena about his one real adventure from his youth.

"So, I found and empty house in my neighborhood," he said, "I knew we shouldn't, but I thought we could...."

She smiled slightly and kept walking with Horse's reigns in her hand. But the blonde bard didn't interupt to say that she remembered that party. She didn't tell him she remembered bribing the guard. She didn't tell him that they had laughed at the others until the city guards had come because the neighbors had complained about the noise.

"Then there was this one girl," Joxer was saying. "I wish I could remember her name. She was almost as.." His voice broke off as he stared at Gabrielle.

She grinned at him. "What?"

Xena blinked. "Gabrielle, when you wandered off in Athens, what happened?"

"I found a bunch of friends, and we had a party," Gabrielle started.

"On the Patio," Joxer mumbled as he still stared at the object of his best dreams. "That girl.. She was you?"

"So, do you think everybody's gonna show for another party on the patio?" Gabrielle asked innocently.
