Summary: This story is in response to Danii's, huffpuff1228, Xena/Ranma crossover challenge.

"I'm telling you, Xena, we should've stopped at that village back there! We could've at least got some rest and food!"

"And I'm telling you, Gabrielle, you wanted to go see Li again, so wherever he lives is where I'm taking you! This was your idea so stop whining!"

Gabrielle crossed her arms and sighed frustrated. It's true that this was her idea. She missed Li, and decided that her, Xena, and Joxer leave baby Eve with Xena's mother and go back to Chin for awhile.

Speaking of which. Gabrielle looked over her shoulder. Joxer was staring all around the surroundings of Chin like an amazed child seeing his first...anything. The first time he was here, all he got to see was just a small village and a prison with Gabrielle.

She faced back at the road in front of her.

"Are you sure this was a good idea, Xena? Bringing Joxer along?" She asked the leather wearing warrior.

Xena turned to her best friend. "What's wrong? It was your idea to bring Joxer."

"I know...it's just...well now thinking of the dangers in Chin, It doesn't feel right." the bard sighed.

Xena put an arm around Gabrielle and smiled. "Come on now, he's our best friend. He's part of our family. Besides, I'll protect him like I do almost everyday." She reassured.

"Hey, Gabby, Xena..."

The two warrior women looked back at Joxer. Joxer pointed his figure far in the valley.

"There's a place over there. Maybe we could, uh, find some stuff down there.

Xena and Gabrielle looked in the direction Joxer pointed in. Not to far away looked like a temple of some sort. The two best friends looked at each other, and shrugged.

Xena looked over to Joxer. "Let's go ahead. Come on Joxer."

Gabrielle walked into the temple first. She gasped at the sight.

"Oh my gods." She gasped. "Xena, come look at this place!"

Xena walked in behind the battling bard. She could help but smiled widely and shake her head. "Yep, this is my kinda place."

Small springs, but there was a lot of them. But suddenly, there was a stinch that would make a god sick.

Gabrielle covered her nose as she coughed from breathing the filthy smell in her nose. Xena did the same.

"Eww...nice springs and all...but it smells like....bamboo shoots." Gabrielle winced.

Joxer, a scarf covering his mouth and nose, walked in after his friends.

"Wow." He looked all around the temple. "Nice place here. Without the smell though."

As his eyes contiued their tour of the temple, Joxer eyes caught sight of strange figures on the wall. He walked up to the figures, and ran his finger over them. One figure was a drawing of a woman with long dark brown hair and green eyes. The woman held a sword, and looked like she was fighting the othe figures which looked like men.

"Huh. It's gotta be Xena." He said to himself. "But then again, Xena doesn't have green eyes."

Joxer began to look at the rest of the figures on the wall. Big mistake.

"Some nice ar....woah woah woah....wooaaaahhh!!!" Splash.

Xena and Gabrielle's heads snapped over to where Joxer was, or use to be standing. Xena saw a near by spring that looked like someone had taken a dive...

"Oh no."

Joxer struggled to swim back up, but the weight of his geeky armor made it difficult for him to even move under water. He shouted help, but only managed to have bubbles come out of his mouth and make a humming sound.

"YOU!"

Joxer froze still in the water. He slowly floated around, only to see a small white ball of light.

"You have entered the spring of the drowned warrior woman, Jeisa. You shall now be cursed with the body of the greatest warrior of Chin."

Spring of the drowned warrior woman, curse, body of the greatest warrior of Chin? Having a woman's body?!

Joxer used all his might to swim away, but all his attempts failed.

Xena rushed forward, taking of her bag of belongings and her sword and chakram.

"HOLD ON JOXER, I'M COMING!"

Before she even got close to the spring, bubbles began to erupt from the spring like a valcano ready to explode.

Suddenly, a figure erupted from the spring, twirling in mid air, and landed gracefully on its feet.

Gabrielle looked concerned, and crept up over to the figure.

"Joxer?" She whispered.

The figure looked up, looking into Gabrielle's green jaded eyes with it's own green jaded eyes.

"Gabrielle." the figured whispered.

Gabrielle's eyes went wide and her jaw dropped. Her mind suddenly went blank and her breathing halted. She felt dizzy as her eyes went blurry, and her body fell to the ground.

"Joxer, she's coming through!" Xena smiled.

Gabrielle slowly and weakly opened her eyes. Her eyes met with Xena's icy blue orbs. She smiled up at her soulmate.

"Xena, oh...I had this funny dream." Gabrielle slowly leaned up.

"Joxer, as usual, tripped and fell into one of the springs in this temple. And then, the last I saw him...he was a..."

"...woman." Xena finished for her.

Gabrielle's eyes blinked in amazement. "You had the same dream too?"

Xena frowned. "For starters, Gabrielle. It was no dream."

Xena stood up, and pointed to a woman with long, dark brown hair tied in a pony tail, and with green eyes. The woman wore a dress similiar to Gabrielle's dress she bought in Chin, but the woman's dress was red.

"Gabrielle, meet a whole new side of Joxer."

"Joxer. Joxer? Joxer?!" Gabrielle stormed up. "JOXER?!"

"H-hey, Gabby." Joxer/the woman spoke, with a female voice that was soft yet dark.

Gabrielle grabbed one of the shoulder straps of Xena's armor. "Xena, wha...wha...wha...what happened to Joxer?"

"Well uh...I did some research while you were unconcious. This temple, Gabrielle, is what the call a training temple, like the academy in Greece. People are trained here to learn arts of fighting and self-defence."

"But how does that explain Joxer's...situation?"

"Embrace yourself, Gabrielle. Joxer is in the form of the greatest warrior ever in Chin's history. Jesia. Or as they called her, Jesia, the Warrior Goddess. The spring Joxer fell in was where she drowned after being attacked by one of the students here that turned traitor."

Joxer walked up. "The traitor sneak attacked Jesia by bumping her on the head, so that she could do nothing to escape. However, Jesia awoke in the spring, and seperated her body and soul. I have her body, but not her soul."

Gabrielle touched Joxer/Jesia's cheek, feeling the smooth and warm flesh. She couldn't help but grin.

"Well, Joxer. Even though you are kind of cute as a man, you are one really sexy woman."

Joxer/Jesia blushed. "Gee, thanks Gabrielle."

Gabrielle turned back to Xena. "So how can we change him back?"

Xena put her finger up, motioning for one minute. Xena picked up a small piece of cloth doused in hot water, and brushed it along Jesia's face. Suddenly, Jesia's face turned back into Joxer's.

"The patterns on the wall Joxer was looking at mentioned that cold water is where Jesia lies. In other words, If Joxer ever touches cold water, he turns into Jesia. If Jesia ever touches hot water, it's good ol' Joxer again." Xena explained.

Xena looked over at her two friends, nobody was paying attention. Xena sighed and rolled her eyes.

Gabrielle looked at Jesia from head to her feet. She was incredibly beautiful. She was about Gabrielle's size, and looked to be about her age.

Gabrielle then shook herself. What in Tataurus was going through her mind?! Was she attracted to Joxer as Jesia?!

Come on, Gabby. Get a hold of yourself. Oooohhh!! I hate it when I call myself Gabby!!

Joxer/Jesia, without thinking, jumped up with unexpected agility onto a broken stump, and began to slowly move her hands and body around, like a strange dance.

Gabrielle, nude with Xena in one of the springs, watched Joxer as he moved in Jesia's body.

"What on Earth is that?" She asked.

"I think he, or she, is loosening herself up. It's like a warm up." Xena explained.

"A warm up of what?"

Jesia stopped what she was doing, and began performing martial art techniqes without falling from the stump. Her speed and gracefullness amazed both Gabrielle and Xena.

Gabrielle leaned over to Xena. "Where did he learn to do that?"

"I don't know. But it might be because of Jesia's body." Xena whispered back.

Jesia stopped and jumped down from the stump. Joxer/Jesia bent over, catching her breath. How'd I do that? He thought to himself. Joxer began to feel himself sweating. Well, I guess it's only water and not body sweat.

"Hey Joxer! You look hot! Get in here and join us!" Xena shouted.

Joxer looked up and blinked. "Uh, er...uh..are you sure that's a good idea, Xena?"

"Shut up and get in. It's cold and nice."

Joxer shrugged, and began to strip out of Jesia's clothes. Gabrielle watched as Joxer began stripping himself. She couldn't help but feel her breath taken away from the view of Jesia's naked body. Joxer, also, looked down at his new body.

"Woah." He began to run his fingers over his, or Jesia's, breasts. They were about the same size as Gabrielle's when he watched his beloved bathe in the spring. "I could uh...get use to this."

"Joxer!"

"Coming, Xena."

Joxer quickly ran over to the spring Xena and Gabrielle were bathing in, and tip toed inside the pool. Joxer took of the the small hair band that tied Jesia's hair in a pony tail, and laid Jesia's her down.

Gabrielle continued to stare at Joxer in Jesia's body. Xena noticed this, and grinned. She made an excuse that she had to go get some soap from her bag. Before they knew it, Joxer/Jesia and Gabrielle were alone in the spring.

There was a brief silence, until Joxer broke the silence.

"Gabrielle?"

Gabrielle shook herself out of her daydreaming like mode, and looked curiously at Joxer in Jesia's body. "Uh..y-yes, Joxer?"

He leaned back against the wall in the spring. "Did you really mean what you said? About me being a sexy woman and handsome guy?"

"Of course, Joxer." the bard smiled.

Joxer smiled back so lovingly at his beloved bard. He began to remember his last encounter with his different brother, Jace.

"Yes Jace. I did absolutely everthing. I gave her presents, poems....gods, almost everything. And she just doesn't love me more than a friend."

"Well then, maybe, dear brother...maybe yo' golden goddess is...attracted to her kind, no?"

"Wait...are you saying she's...? OH NO, JACE! No, that can't be it!"

"I think she is, Joxer. Maybe if you were a woman now...."

"Jace, that's the craziest thing I have ever heard you say."

Yeah, crazy but now it's true.

Gabrielle finally forced her eyes to move away from Jesia. Joxer continued to stare at Gabrielle. His eyes were full of hope and love, love for his bard. He slowly began to move closer to Gabrielle.

Oh well. What have I got to lose?

"Gabrielle?" Joxer whispered in Jesia's voice.

Gabrielle looked back over at Joxer in Jesia's body, only to see Jesia was inches from her face.

"J-Joxer...wh..wh...what are you doing?"

Joxer cupped Gabrielle's face in Jesia's hands. "I just want you to know...I love you more than anything. Man or woman, I'm in love with you Gabrielle. And I know you could never love me back, but please remember what I said."

Joxer moved his hands away and began to back away from Gabrielle, affraid of her reaction.

Gabrielle fell silent, not knowing what to say next as her mind went blank. Finally, one thought came to Gabrielle's mind, and she couldn't help but smile lovingly at Joxer in Jesia's body.

"Joxer." Gabrielle whispered.

Joxer/Jesia looked back up at Gabrielle.

"Man or Woman. I don't care, Joxer. It's who you really are that counts for me. I'm just sorry it took me so long to figure this out."

"Figure what out, Gabrielle?" Joxer/Jesia asked.

Gabrielle grinned, and pulled herself over Jesia's body, kissing Jesia's lips with incredible passion. Joxer/Jesia's eyes were wide open.

Gabrielle finally pulled herself away for air, and looked deep in the green orbs of Jesia.

"I love you, Joxer. I'm in love with you." she smiled.

"YOU THERE!"

Joxer/Jesia quickly looked over to find another woman. She wore clothing similiar to that of an amazon.

Gabrielle jumped out of the spring and wrapped her naked body in a towel. Jesia stayed in the spring. The mysterious amazon noticed Joxer, and nearly fell back. The amazon's face turned pale, as her hands began to shake.

"No...no, it can't be you. You're dead. You're dead, Jesia!!" the amazon spoke.

"Zuria." Joxer/Jesia whispered.

Gabrielle stared back at Joxer/Jesia. "You know her?"

Jesia leaped out of the spring and quickly put her dress back on. "She's the one who betrayed Jesia."

"YOU KILLED MY AMAZON SISTERS!! WHO COULD BLAME ME?!!"

"Your amazon sisters were cold blooded murders. You and your sisters were so twisted, you even murdered children."

"Maybe. But you skipped one part."

Before she could react, Zuria leaped in the air and kicked Jesia square in the face. Jesia fell to the ground, near the rag doused in hot water. Jesia's cheek fell against the rag.

Joxer staggered back up to his feet, a bit dizzy from the impact of Zuria's kick.

Zuria looked confused. "What is this? Some kind of Joke?"

Joxer! Oh no! Gabrielle thought.

Joxer shook himself out of his daze, and stared dead cold at Zuria. He roared his battle cry and charged at Zuria. Zuria effortlessly stepped out of the way, and tripped Joxer in the spring.

It was all Joxer needed.

Zuria looked over at Gabrielle. "Now your turn!" She hissed.

"Give it your best shot. You're gonna pay for hurting the man I love." Gabrielle replied.

Gabrielle, still in her towel, grabbed her sais and charged at Zuria. Zuria leaped to dodge Gabrielle's assault, but Gabrielle was prepared.

Gabrielle leaped in the air kicked Zuria in her hip, knocking the amazon hard to the ground of the temple. Zuria spit blood from her mouth, and pulled out a long dagger from behind her.

"I'll cut your throat!" Zuria roared.

Zuria screamed in anger and lunged at Gabrielle. But Gabrielle was faster, and caught the dagger in between her sais. With the strength of her sais, Gabrielle broke the dagger in half.

Zuria dropped her broken dagger, and begin to back away. Her lips then made an evil grin. "Don't think you've won! SISTERS ATTACK!!"

Nothing.

Zuria looked behind her. Joxer, back in Jesia's body, fought of the group of amazons. Kicks, punches, blockes, twits, and turns.

Joxer/Jesia defeated the last of the amazon's, then looked back over at a frightened Zuria.

"Give up, Zuria. You're not going to win this battle." Joxer/Jesia said.

Zuria looked at Jesia, remembering how incredibly powerful and dangerous the young woman was and is now. Zuria then looked over at Gabrielle. She had truly never faced such an opponent other than Jesia.

Zuria looked back and forth at Gabrielle and Joxer/Jesia. Only one thing on her mind. She made a move to run.

Jesia leaped in the air, and jumped in front of Zuria.

Jesia swung her knuckles with great speed like Xena's pinch, to the center of Zuria's chest. Zuria's eyes the bulged in the back of her head, and her body went limp as it fell to the ground, dead.

Out of nowhere, Xena came walking out. "Hey. Woah. Looks like I missed a party."

"Oh no, Gabrielle! I can't"

"Joxer, he's your brother. Jace has the right to know. Now, do you have the cloth doused in cold water?"

"Check." He held out the cold watered cloth.

"And the hot watered cloth?"

"Check." He held up.

"Ok. Now remember, when I give the single, use the cold water cloth. Then when Jace calms down, use the hot water cloth. Ok?"

"Got it."

Joxer, in his normal body, and Gabrielle walked up to a nearby tent. A tent that belonged to Jace, the different brother of Joxer.

Jace walked out of his tent. His eye lighting up as he saw his brother and Gabrielle walk by.

"Joxser'! My baby brother!" Jace greeted. The brothers embraced.

'Hey Jace, it's good to see ya." Joxer greeted back.

Gabrielle cleared her throat. This was the signal.

"Oh, uh...Jace, could we see you inside your tent for a sec?"

"Why sure, baby brother. What is it?"

Joxer and Gabrielle followed Jace back inside his tent.

Xena sat down under the shade of a nearby tree, relaxing.

If it's one good thing, it's peace and quite for heroine like myself after hard years of work. She thought.

I really hope everything goes ok with Jace.

"AAAAAGGGHHH!!! JOXER, I DIDN'T REALLY MEAN YOU SHOULD BECOME ONE TO WIN GABRIELLE'S HEART!!" Jace screamed from inside his tent.

"Damn." Xena grinned.
