Summary: This is a Xena/DBZ crossover. Joxer finds Xena, Gabrielle, and Hercules
with Iolas, fighting and losing to a powerful but menacing monster called Frieza.
Just when everything seems hopeless, Joxer's anger over seeing his friends being
beaten unlocks a unknown and mysterious power, even greater then the gods! Takes
place during Season 5.
This wasn't happening! NO! It had to be a bad dream. But it looked so much real. Joxer looked all around infront of him, staring at the fallen and weak bodies of two of the greatest heroes and their sidekicks. He looked up forward, towards the figure of the one responsible for this.
The figure grined and let out a small laugh as he watched the four warriors struggle to their feet. "Hmm...I must admit that nobody has ever been able to survive any of my attacks." The figure looked down at Earth's greatest champion. "But I mus admit, Hercules, the gods told me I would find a great challenge in you. I guess they were wrong." He smirked.
Hercules finally managed to get to his feet, and glared at Freiza intensively. The legendary strong-man gathered up all his momentom, and threw a powerful punch at Frieza, hitting the creature's jaw. Suddenly, Freiza's face didn't budge from the blow. Instead, the creature just kept his evil glaze at the son of Zeus.
Without warning, Hercules fell hard to the ground as Freiza's tail swatted him in the chest with great speed. Back to where Joxer was standing. Joxer eyes widened in fear. Gods, why did they have to send this monster to avenge the death of Zeus. This was not right.
"J-J-....Joxer..." A weak and shakey voice called from behind. Joxer turned around quickly, only to see Gabrielle leaning up on her arm. oh gods, the cuts, the bruises, the blood that trinkled from the side of her mouth...this was pushing Joxer over the edge. He wanted to rip the Freiza apart! Destroy that damn monster for what he did to Gabrielle and the others.
"Joxer...run...before...before he finds you." She pleaded. But Joxer stayed still. His eyes were flaming with rage, his fists were scrinched tight. It looked like his face was turning blood red. The bard knew she had never seen her clumsy friend like this, but she pushed the feeling aside. "JOXER...DAMMIT YOU IDIOT..GO!! GO BEFORE HE...!!!" She stopped as she looked over Joxer's shoulder. Suddenly, her eyes were feeled with fear.
Joxer turned slowly around, still with rage burning inside him. Freiza looked at the clumsy so-called warrior. "Ooh, aren't you the mad one." Freiza mocked as he laughed evily. Suddenly, Freiza raised his hand infront of Joxer, then it moved aside to were Gabrielle was laying. Joxer knew immediately what the menace was up to. This only made him more angrier.
WIthout warning, Joxer stood infront of Gabrielle, blocking Frieza's power beam for Gabrielle. "NO!!! I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT MY FRIENDS ANYMORE!!!" Joxer shouted from the top of his lungs. "YOU...HEAR ME?!!" Suddenly, the ground under Joxer and Freiza began to shake. Then it felt like an incredible earthquake.
Freiza, for the first time, looked worried. He didn't have a clue what was going on...until he looked back up at Joxer. Hercules, and a now concious Xena and Iolas looked up to see what was happening.
Joxer's crinched his fists tighter, and suddenly his hair begin to spike up and change into a gold color. Joxer shut his eyes, and screamed in pure rage as a great power burst inside of him. His muscles began to grow a bit, and his height increased as well.
Freiza jaw dropped and his eyes wide in fear as he moved back. "Who...what...what are you? Who are you?!" Joxer grinned evily at the now-frightened assasin. He crossed his arms over his chest as he replied. "Lets just say...that I am the protector of all living things...the one who is always there for those in need...I am Joxer the Mighty." Joxer placed his arms in the air, and clenched his fists again.
" I am...an ALLEY TO GOOD...!!!" Joxer roared and with incredible speed...leaped out and jabbed Frieza in his face, knocking the creature far from a distance. "NIGHTMARE TO YOU, FRIEZA!!!"
Gabrielle looked up. "J-Joxer? Is that...is that really you?" Joxer turned back around to the woman he loved, but gave her a different answer. "Gabby, I'm going to send you, Xena, Hercules and Iolas far from here. You will meet my sister Jarren. She will take care of you and explain this ."
Gabrielle struggled to get up and protest, but before she could, Gabrielle and the others vanished. Joxer sighed and looked down as the wind blew in his face smoothly. " I love you, Gabby. I promise I will get back to you and Xena." Joxer turned around. "But first...I'm going kick your ass!"
Frieza managed to get to his feet. Gods, what a hit. He had never been hit that hard, and never had his cheek felt so soar. He stared at the newly improved Joxer, with great fear in his eyes. This was definatly going to be a long day.
Gabrielle felt a sharp pain in her head as she slowly woke up. Wait...where was she?! She looked all around at her surroundings. She was in...a bedroom, but not her bedroom. Where was she?
"Well, you finally woke up." A voice said from the side.
Gabrielle snapped her head in the direction of that voice. In the bedroom door was a young dark-haired girl who looked to be at the age of 17. The dark-haired girl walked up to Gabrielle and touched her forehead. "Good, no fever." Then she looked at the wounds and bruises the bard had gotten from Freiza, the assasin of the gods. "And your wounds are healing. That's a good sign." She grinned.
Gabrielle looked suspiciously at the young girl. "W-who...who are you? Where am I?" She asked. The dark-haired girl sat down next to Gabrielle on the bed. "My name is Jarren. I'm sure my brother told you about me." She replied.
Gabrielle looked confused, but suddenly she remembered what Joxer had told her. My sister Jarren will take care of you and explain this whole thing. She looked up with a surpised look on her face. " Your Joxer's sister?!" Jarren smiled brightly and nodded.
"Then could you possibly explain this? What happened to Joxer? Or what is he? And..." Gabrielle suddenly looked like she had forgotten something as she looked around the room again. "...and where are my friends?"
"So many questions from one of Greeces most magnificient bards." She joked. Jarren sat up and cleared her throat. "First, your friends are sleeping. It looks like they will need the rest badly. Now, about Joxer...."
Freiza swung his tail at Joxer again. Joxer grabbed his tail and swung him over his shoulder, sending Freiza smashing to the ground. The wind was knocked out of the monster, and quickly jumped in the air to regain his breath. Joxer grinned in pleasure at watching Freiza in pain. Freiza noticed the evil grin, and glared holes through his enemy.
'What are you smiling about?!" Freiza growled. " You think you can beat me, you son of a bucchae?!! Well your wrong!!"
Joxer just chuckled at Freiza's anger. Then, his chuckles soon turned to laughter that filled the sky. This made Freiza more mad then ever. " Your foolishiness is starting to piss me off! And pissing ME off will be your downfall, you BASTARD!!" Freiza shouted as he dashed at Joxer with great speed.
WIthout warning, Freiza delivered four hard jabs to the mighty one's gut. Freiza smiled in delight, hoping his opponent was in terrible pain. But as Freiza looked up into Joxer's face, the mighty one was grinning.
"Is that the best you can do?" He mockly asked.
Freiza dashed away from Joxer, frightened by the reaction from his punches. "There is no way...NO WAY...you can't be stronger than me?! I am Freiza, the strongest in the universe!!"
"Then why are you affraid to attack me again?" Joxer calmly asked.
Suddenly, Freiza started to grin. "Because I haven't shown you my true power yet." Joxer looked curiously at the the alien assasin of the gods. "I'm listening." Joxer said. Freiza began to chuckle.
"Just give me time my friend, and I will show you a true challenge...once I reach my perfect level. And when I do..we shall see who is the real strongest here...then i will...."
Joxer interrupted Freiza. "Just do it already, and hurry up!" Freiza grinned evily, and began to charge up.
"You probably know about our parents, don't you?" Jarren asked. Gabrielle nodded yes. "Well, a long time ago, my mother, who looks exactly like your friend Xena, left home for awhile after our father went out to war. In the town of Corinth, a huge storm was beginnning, and that's when it happened."
"When what happened?" The bard asked curiously.
"When Joxer became the super warrior. You see, my mother was pregnant with him at the time. Suddenly, she was in labor. After she gave birth to Jett and Jace....a great energy suddenly filled her stomach. She said she could feel the strength of the baby. And after that....Joxer was born, but a great ball of energy surrounded his body. He didn't even cry or anything."
Gabrielle looked at Jarren, still confused. Jarren sighed. "Joxer is actually mine, Jett's, and Jace's Half brother. He is the son of a god from not of this world. " Gabrielle's eyes were wide. Joxer was...half god?!
"B-b-but he doesn't seem like he's half god at all. Just all human. And don't get me wrong...I love Joxer but...he IS a klutz." Jarren got up from the bed and grinned over at the warrior bard. "Well...don't believe everthing you see. It's true that he is a klutz, but hey...thats why we love him right? And also...he can fighter a lot more better with his fists and kicks."
Gabrielle looked up at Jarren, looking like she had realized somthing. Something else about Joxer. "Joxer was a boxer?" She asked, very surprised. Jarren looked over at her. "No...a street fighter, or whatever you call him." Jarren began to walk out of the room, but stopped as she looked out of the bedroom window. Gabrielle noticed Jarren's look, and looked outside as well.
"What is it?" She asked. Jarren pointed up in the sky. The morning was suddenly turning into night, as it sounded like thunder was beginning to roar slightly.
