Summary: The second story in the Eve: The Ultimate Warrior series. Leaving Virgil with Gabrielle, Eve and Joxer must solve a mystrey of a missing crown.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Ok guys. Well, as it turns out. This is the last story of the Eve: The Ultimate Warrior series. But stay tuned for much more.

Eve and Joxer walked into the throne room of Queen Diana, daughter of the Xena look-alike Princess Diana. Both bowed to the Queen and stood back up. " It is an honor to meet you, your highness." Eve smiled.

"It is an honor to meet the daughter of my mother's friend." The Queen smiled back. She noticed the brown haired man next to her. It must be Joxer, but why did he look young? Diana's thoughts were interrupted by Eve.

"What seems to be the problem, your highness?" Eve asked. Diana looked over to her side and signaled a tall, buff man wearing black armor to move forward.

The man was bold, with blue icy eyes, and pretty taller than both Eve and Joxer. "The Queen has sent for you on this urgent *investigation*...."

"Investigation? You mean another murder?" Joxer asked.

The tall, bald man looked over at Joxer and replied, "No, not a murder. The Queen's crown, as you can see, is missing." The man pointed at Diana. FInally, Joxer and Eve both noticed she was not wearing her crown. They looked at each other, both sighing, then turned back to the man.

"This shouldn't be to much trouble. I've solved more mysteries in just one day." Joxer grinned with his goofy trademark smile.

The man's eyebrows curved up. "Well that's good...because you only have till sundown to find the crown and the thief."

Joxer looked around the kitchen one last time. Finally, Joxer gave up and leaned against the wall. "Unbelievable! We have searched the whole castle...and still no clues!" He complained.

Eve entered the kitchen. "I've even looked in the prison cells, and besides taking care of one pervert with a hard jaw..." She showed her knuckles that were red. "...There was nothing that could help us on this investigation."

Joxer stood up up and crossed his arms over his chest. "There has got to be a damn clue around here." Joxer said as he slammed his foot gently against the wall. Suddenly, the piece of the wall broke off, revealing a hole. Joxer suddenly felt a gust of wind blow against his foot where the hole was. Eve immediatly noticed this and kneeled down to get a better glimpse.

"Ah shit! This is gonna cost for sure. And I was planning on buying Gabrielle some new scrolls." Joxer groaned.

Eve looked through the hole that Joxer's foot had made. Suddenly, a smile had crept on her face, as she patted Joxer's leg. "Actually, you might not have to pay for this at all." She said.

Joxer looked down at her, confused. "Why is that?"

Eve looked up at him and smiled brightly. " Because you just found a clue that we will only need to solve this mystery."

A limpy man, his identity covered by his blue robe, leaned over to Queen Diana. " Time is up my queen. I am affraid the crown maybe lost forever." The limpy man walked away to the side of the Diana's throne.

Diana sighed sadly as tears began to form in her eyes. " My mother's crown. It was so precious to me." She sobbed. Everyone looked at the queen, and felt great sympathy for her. Until Eve bursted through the door, with Joxer following behind.

The tall man, who assigned Eve and Joxer the investigation, moved forward infront of the duo. "I am sorry, but your time is up. We are sure you have tried your best..."

" We did, and the case has been solved." Joxer interrupted. Joxer looked at Eve, signaling her to speak.

Eve turned toward Diana and the people in the throne room. " Your highness, we have discovered the missing crown and the theif."

Diana wiped her eyes and waited for Eve to finish. " Yes, go on!" She urged.

Eve looked all around the room at the people. " We have found a very interesting clue. A clue that means.....the theif....." Eve suddenly turned to Diana. " Is YOU!" She pointed out. The people in the room suddenly gasped and whispered, while the tall guard's head snapped in the direction of Diana.

Diana looked puzzled. " W-w-what do you mean? I couldn't have..."

"Oh enough with that fake accent, Phierra. Spy and tramp of Jax." Eve interrupted.

Diana/Phierra scowled at the ultimate warrior and Joxer the Mighty. Phierra slowly rose off the throne and looked at the limpy man beside her. "I thought you said this plan would work! And I would be Queen if I slept with you!" She whined.

Suddenly, the limpy man stood up straight, knocking the robe off. " Hey, don't blame this on me! I told you we should've hid the prince elsewhere!" It was Jax.

Eve's smiled turned into a deadly snarl as she saw Jax. "Well, we meet again, Commander." She greeted in a not-so friendly way. Jax saw Joxer and Eve, both their swords ready to fight, with the palace guards. His face started to turn pale. He had no where to run, and no where to escape. That was...unless....

Jax suddenly grabbed Phierra, a dagger at her throat. "All right, I'm getting out of here. Nobody try to stop me or this bitch dies!" He growled.

Phierra looked over her shoulder. "Bitch?!! Hey at least I don't dress like a loser like you!"

"Shuddap!"

Suddenly, Joxer moved forward towards Jax and a hostage Phierra. " Your not getting out of here, Jax. I've let you escape long enough! This time...it's the showdown!" Joxer snarled at his nemesis.

Jax smiled evily. "Ooooh, that's right. It's over....FOR YOUGGHH!!!" Jax 's body began to stiffen, then it finally went limp and fell lifelessly to the ground.

The tall guard, who had somehow sneaked up behind him, looked down at the lifeless corpse. " For the great Queen Diana and her husband."

" Ok ok, I think I got it now." Virgil smiled. " The whole that my dad made in the kitchen, was actually part of a path to a secret chamber in the Palace.

Eve looked over at the young bard. "Yes. Appearently, instead of a queen, there was a prince. The original child and son of Princess Diana. Jax wanted to gain Princess Diana's crown to take her riches and her army, so he kidnapped her son." She explained.

" But you prevented that." Virgil smiled.

Eve nodded. Virgil continued to stare at the daughter of the Warrior Princess, then sighed as he looked back down at half-fulled scroll.

Meanwhile, in Joxer and Gabrielle's bedroom.

"...and I got you those scrolls you wanted. Gotta tell you, for good looking scrolls, they were pretty cheap." Joxer finished.

Suddenly, Joxer knew his wife wasn't paying the close attention. Joxer turned around, only to see Gabrielle crying. Joxer began to worry. "Hey...hey Gabby what's wrong?" He walked over to her.

Fighting to stop crying, Gabrielle smiled sweetly and placed her hands on his arm. "Joxer...there...there is somthing I have to tell you."

Uh oh, he thought. No, please tell me this isn't bad! Why is she crying?! Oh man, dammit, this must be bad! Is there someone else? Is it Xena?

Joxer shook his head and turned his attention back to his wife. " What is it Gabrielle?" He asked worriedly, placing his hands on her shoulders.

Gabrielle, the Amazon Queen/Bard, looked deep into the eyes of Joxer the Mighty. " I'm pregnant."

Joxer's jaw suddenly dropped. After a few moments of silence, Joxer and Gabrielle both laughed happily, and embraced each other as Joxer comforted his Gabrielle, kissing her tenderly.

Over the years, Eve continued to use her unmatched and unrivaled fighting abitlities, strength, and courage to protect the followers of Eli and the world. She ended up back together with Virgil, who became a famous bard in all of Rome and Greece, and the two married. They had a daughter named after Eve's mother Xena, who would continue the heroic ways of her grandmother.

Gabrielle became the world's most greatest bard, and wrote stories about her late teacher, Eli. After awhile, Joxer had become a popular muscian, and helped continue the teachings of Eli, except he didn't go from town to town. Joxer's and Gabrielle's daughter, Gabrielle, who developed her bard skills from her mother and her clumsiness from her father, traveled the world with her best friend, Eve and Virgil's daughter, Xena.
